Is there a difference between SETA accredited and SET approved?

Although people don’t realize it the difference in wording does reflect on a difference. SETA approved indicated that the SETAs across the country approve of the specific training and provider and that the materials used are approved. A SETA approved trainer company thus will provide training on the required level. A company can thus give a certificate that is SETA approved. SETA accredited means that a trainer provider is approved and has gained full accreditation with SETA. Once accreditation is received the company becomes more than simply a SETA approved trainer and will thus have more status in the education and training industry. The course provider has also qualified to provide the course according to a specific Seta’s standards.
