One major difference between the adult training class and that of teaching on school level is the presentation style. Adults require a lot of visual stimulation, loads of interaction, and must have specific outcomes to stay motivated. They have less time and as such an accelerated means of learning must be used. The adult training class must thus be focussed on direct application of knowledge and skills obtained. The adult training class is thus focussed on development of skills that can be used in the workplace and thus benefit the worker directly. The learner easily loses interest and it is difficult to motivate a tired or overworked worker. As such worker must not be overloaded with information, but rather receive very specific instruction to ensure quick application of knowledge gained.
