Basics of how adult education should be presented

Adult education cannot be presented in the same manner as for school going children. Time is limited and as such the adult education program must be focused on specific outcomes to ensure that learners can acquire the much needed skills within the shortest time period possible. Adults want to see direct application and usefulness of the knowledge gained and as such the adult education programs must address skills required in the workplace and day to day living. The materials used must be of high standard and encourage learning for people who already have limited time. Adult education must grab the attention of the learner and succeed in captivating the learner to ensure completion of the courses.
