What does it mean to be an accredited LPM Category B, C, and D training service provider

What does it mean to be an accredited LPM Category B, C, and D training service provider?

Triple E Training is fully accredited by Umalusi, but what does it mean to be an accredited LPM Category B, C, and D training service provider?

The National Qualifications Framework

The NQF is a comprehensive system approved by the Minister for the classification, registration, publicationm and articulation of quality-assured national qualifications. The objectives of NQF are to:

  • create a single integrated national framework for learning achievements;
  • facilitate access to, and mobility and progression within, education, training and career paths;
  • enhance the quality of education and training; and
  • accelerate the redress of past unfair discrimination in education, training and employment opportunities.

These objectives are designed to contribute to the full personal development of each learner, and the social and economic development of the nation at large.

Criteria for accreditation

As a private training service provider, Triple E Training went through a rigorous accreditation application process at Umalusi that grants accreditation to private organisations based on three core focus areas:

  • strategic leadership and management;
  • assessment standards; and
  • administration of assessment.

Strategic leadership looks at the service provider’s management team’s ability to provide governance oversight based on acceptable practices. To meet the criterion of assessment standards means that the service provider’s assessment approach and systems are credible. Within these focus areas Umalusi further assesses the service provider’s research and development of training material.

At Triple E Training, we have a dedicated R&D team that ensures our training material is innovative, benchmarked, and fit for its intended purpose. We constantly improve our training material, systems, and approaches to drive the improvement of LPM Category B, C, and D training.

What does it mean to be an accredited LPM Category B, C, and D training service provider?

Accreditation by Umalusi is a status granted to a private service provider at the end of a quality assurance process that attests to the quality of training services offered.

We at Triple E Training are proud to be one of only 12 private service providers with a full 7-year accreditation status in the country.

By choosing us as your LPM Category B, C, and D training service provider you can rest assured that your company’s skills development needs will be taken care of, and that your annual BEE audit on the priority skills development element will be a walk in the park.
