Time well spent

It can take up to 8 months to complete a level in an Adult Basic Education and Training course. The levels may incorporate many different grades or concentrate on just one grade when the course becomes more advance at a secondary education level. However it is up to the abilities of the learner and the amount of time the learner spends at their studies that will determine the length of time until the learner completes a level and is ready for the exam. It is important to note that it is facilitators’ job to ensure that the learner is ready for an exam no matter how long it takes for the learner to get there.
