We drive change through education and training

Research shows that persons with a disability have a far less chance of being employed, with similar trends observed in job advancement and security. At Triple E Training we are committed to drive change through education and training which is why we support the National Skills Development Strategy (NSDS) requirement for training disabled individuals.

Training for disabled individuals

By training unemployed, disabled individuals from the community our clients not only earn points towards the BEE scorecard, but they also contribute driving change through education and training. The table below shows that the weighting allocated to the skills development element of the BEE scorecard.
A disability-focused learnership can boost your BEE Scorecard by more than 12 points. Our Business Practice qualification (NQF 1), which falls under Category C of the learning programme matrix, is therefore the ideal solution for companies who would like to contribute to the state of unemployment for persons with disabilities.

Government will share the cost of the training

The Bill of Rights in the South African Constitution outlaws discrimination on any ground, including disability. To address barriers to employment the NSDS requires the SETAs to open training opportunities through learnerships for persons with disabilities. Because of the urgency of addressing this matter the government will share the cost of the training through tax incentives and rebates. The benefits of learnerships for persons with disabilities are:
  • Cash grants;
  • Contribution towards your BEE Scorecard;
  • Provision of skilled and experienced workers;
  • Improved productivity and quality; and
  • Identification of skills gap and training opportunities.

Driving change from within your business

Outsourced BEE training and learnerships for persons with disabilities by an accredited service provider means that you can drive change from within your business through education and training.
Together with our clients we contribute to driving change by training more than 100 unemployed persons with disabilities each year.
