Depending on how many employees you have in your company, it is important to ensure that a staff member at each level of your company has received basic First Aid training in case of a medical emergency. This means that they should know exactly what to do when someone falls, burns themselves or is injured in any other way. They should also know how to perform Cardio-Pulmonary Respiration (CPR) should a person stop breathing or have no pulse rate. Should the staff member who is trained to perform these duties in the work place not be available, it is important that all employees know who else in the company has received training and to call them immediately should a medical emergency occur.
