Increased safety and security effectiveness

The Safety and Security Sector Education and Training Authority (SASETA) would like to decrease the amount of illiterate employees in the industry by offering them an opportunity to receive Adult Basic Education and Training. SASETA provides funding for employees and employers who are interested in rolling out this education programme in their companies. This funding applies to individuals and employers who are registered with the SETA and are paying levies towards the improvement of skills and development within the industry. A list of preferred ABET facilitators and providers can be supplied by MERSETA. The ABET programme has been rolled out nationwide and a facilitator who meets your requirements will be available in your area.
