What should a Basic English course entail?

A basic English course should cover the normal day to day conversational skills required in the business, market and everyday life of the attendee. It should also cover areas such as phonetics, grammar and spelling. In addition it must prepare the learner for written communication. A basic English course should be presented in a manner that allows the learner to progress to the next level. Bridging courses are presented prior to enrollment into NQF level 1. You will receive certification upon completion of each level.
